LHH is assisting our Indy global supply chain client in their search for an experienced and strategically focused Director of Finance and Accounting to oversee all aspects of financial management, reporting, FP&A and accounting operations across our U.S. locations. This position is critical to supporting the company’s continued growth, enhancing financial systems and controls, and providing meaningful financial insights to operational and executive leadership.. Role Functions:

  • Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, cost accounting, revenue recognition, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and month‑end close

  • Ensure timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and standardized financial procedures

  • Partner with FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning, providing insights that drive strategic decision‑making

  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, program management, and external partners to support cost optimization and margin improvement initiatives

  • Manage annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors

  • Support ERP enhancements, reporting improvements, and finance process automation

  • Oversee treasury activities, tax filings, regulatory compliance, and other financial requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA required

  • 8–12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including:

  • 3–4 years in public accounting

  • Experience in multi‑site and/or manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics environments

  • International exposure; UKG a plus

  • Strong technical expertise in U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks

  • Experience in fast‑growing or technology‑enabled organizations preferred

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Sisense, Tableau, Qlik) and ERP systems

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders

  • Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven mindset

Pay Details: $195,000.00 to $225,000.00 per year
