LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an experience Controller for our client in San Diego, CA. This direct hire opportunity is fully onsite. This position requires at least 10 years of accounting experience and the ability to manage several direct reports.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, including financial statements, consolidation reporting, and quarterly financial presentations
· Responsible for hiring, training, and performance management of staff
· Oversee Accounts Payable and General Accounting functions
· Support the company’s growth objectives and long-term planning
· Maintain chart of accounts
· Assist with annual financial audit
· Review and update standard processed and ensure compliance with company policies
· Analyze performance to budgets or forecasts
· Implement new accounting software and tools, support software changes, and drive automation
· Manage Fixed Asset function
· Oversee month-end close process
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree required; CPA or MBA preferred
· 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years of supervising experience
· ERP experience required – i.e.: SAP, Oracle, Netsuite
· Ability to manage several direct reports
· Comfortable working for a rapidly growing company
· Manufacturing or public accounting experience preferred
· Excellent communication skills
This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $150,000 to $180,000 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year
