LHH Recruitment is looking for a Controller to support our client's team in the Greater Nashville area!

Job Title: Controller
Location: Nashville
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Oversee internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff
  • Identify and implement process improvements

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and financial software
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills



Compensation:

  • Salary range: $100,000 - $135,000 per year
  • Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance
  • This role is not eligible for commissions or equity at this time
