Location: Austin, TX
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 remote)

Salary Range: $90,000 – $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience
About the Role:
A leading global law firm is seeking a motivated and collaborative Client Coordinator Development – Technology Sector to support business development and marketing initiatives across its Technology-focused practices. The Technology Sector represents a significant portion of firmwide revenue and includes highly technical lawyers across transactional, litigation, and intellectual property practices.
This role sits within a large, collaborative Client Development team and will focus on executing initiatives that increase market visibility, strengthen brand awareness, and support strategic growth across core technology practice areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Technology, Media & Entertainment (TME), and Emerging Company / Venture Capital (ECVC).
The position offers regular interaction with attorneys, firm leadership, clients, and industry stakeholders and provides substantial exposure to high-profile initiatives in the technology market.
Key Responsibilities:
Support strategic business development and marketing initiatives for the Technology Sector
Coordinate industry events, sponsorships, partnerships, and client-facing initiatives
Assist with content development for pitches, proposals (RFPs), presentations, newsletters, and electronic updates
Support legal rankings and directory submissions (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500)
Conduct research on technology industry trends, competitor activity, and market intelligence
Partner with Communications teams to execute branding, PR, events, and award initiatives
Track and communicate ROI for industry events and sponsorships
Support attorney integration and cross-practice collaboration initiatives
Prepare materials for internal meetings with firm leadership and practice groups
Assist with CRM reporting, metric tracking, and ad hoc data requests
Provide onsite support for Austin office events and client development projects as needed
Note: Some evening, weekend, and occasional travel is required in connection with events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
2–3 years of professional services marketing or business development experience, preferably in a law firm or comparable professional services environment
Prior experience supporting marketing-heavy roles, including RFPs, submissions, and research
Exposure to or interest in the Technology sector strongly preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Ability to work effectively with attorneys, professional staff, and cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with CRM platforms (Intapp preferred)
Familiarity with tools such as Vuture, PitchPerfect, Sitecore, PitchBook, Capital IQ, or similar research platforms a plus
Comfortable incorporating AI tools into daily workflows (e.g., generative AI, Copilot-style tools)
Work Environment:
Hybrid role requiring at least three days per week onsite in Austin
High interaction with attorneys and client development professionals
Moderate to high interaction with clients, industry organizations, and market influencers
Fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and deadlines
