Customer Service Collections Representative
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Collections Representative for a 3-month contract opportunity located in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and communicating with customers to resolve outstanding balances while maintaining positive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a high-volume of accounts and perform daily collection activities

• Contact customers via phone and email to collect outstanding payments and resolve account discrepancies

• Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up to ensure timely resolution of delinquent accounts

• Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities within the company’s system

• Review aging reports and prioritize accounts requiring immediate attention

• Collaborate with internal teams such as billing, customer service, and accounting to resolve account issues

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable collection regulations

• Meet or exceed collection goals and performance metrics

Qualifications:

• 1–3+ years of experience in collections or a customer service role

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage a high call volume and handle sensitive financial conversations professionally

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting/CRM systems

• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills

Additional Details:

• Located in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego

• Contract role

• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PST

• Onsite, Full-time

• Compensation: $24.00 per hour
