Customer Service Collections Representative
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Collections Representative for a 3-month contract opportunity located in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and communicating with customers to resolve outstanding balances while maintaining positive client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a high-volume of accounts and perform daily collection activities
Contact customers via phone and email to collect outstanding payments and resolve account discrepancies
Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up to ensure timely resolution of delinquent accounts
Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities within the company’s system
Review aging reports and prioritize accounts requiring immediate attention
Collaborate with internal teams such as billing, customer service, and accounting to resolve account issues
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable collection regulations
Meet or exceed collection goals and performance metrics
Qualifications:
1–3+ years of experience in collections or a customer service role
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage a high call volume and handle sensitive financial conversations professionally
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting/CRM systems
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills

Located in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego
Contract role
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PST
Onsite, Full-time
Compensation: $24.00 per hour
