Job Summary
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Customer Service & Shipping Representative for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role provides excellent customer support while coordinating shipping and order logistics. The position serves as a primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, deliveries, and product inquiries, and works closely with internal teams and carriers to ensure accurate and timely shipments.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email

• Take customer orders and process orders received through portals or email

• Resolve customer issues and complaints using a solutions-focused approach

• Accurately enter and update customer and order information in company systems

• Maintain high customer satisfaction and represent the company positively

Shipping and Order Coordination

• Create and manage shipping labels, packing slips, and required documentation

• Obtain freight quotes and coordinate shipments with carriers

• Schedule shipments and arrange pickups as needed

• Track shipments and proactively communicate delays or delivery issues

• Verify shipping details for accuracy and compliance with company standards

• Assist with shipping-related billing questions and claims

Administrative and Team Support

• Maintain organized shipping records and customer documentation

• Communicate effectively with sales, warehouse, and production teams

• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

• Contribute to continuous improvement of customer service and shipping processes

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in customer service and/or shipping coordination

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency with computers and order or shipping software

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
