Cybersecurity Analyst 

Salary Range: $70,000 – $114,000 per year (DOE)
Location: Portland Metro Area 

About the Role

At LHH, we are proactively recruiting top cybersecurity talent to meet the evolving needs of our clients in the Portland Metro area. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you’ll be matched with forward-thinking organizations that value security as a business priority. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and investigate incidents
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Respond to and remediate security incidents
  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and best practices
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure compliance with security standards
  • Prepare reports and present findings to leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CISA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+)
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Incident response and threat intelligence experience

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $70,000 – $114,000 per year (DOE)
  • Other Compensation: May include stock options or profit sharing, depending on the client
