Cybersecurity Analyst
Salary Range: $70,000 – $114,000 per year (DOE)
Location: Portland Metro Area
About the Role
At LHH, we are proactively recruiting top cybersecurity talent to meet the evolving needs of our clients in the Portland Metro area. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you’ll be matched with forward-thinking organizations that value security as a business priority.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and investigate incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Respond to and remediate security incidents
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure compliance with security standards
- Prepare reports and present findings to leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- Familiarity with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CISA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Incident response and threat intelligence experience
Compensation
- Salary Range: $70,000 – $114,000 per year (DOE)
- Other Compensation: May include stock options or profit sharing, depending on the client
