Location: Remote - ideal candidates will live in or be able to work PST hours
Contract Duration: 2–5 month contract
Pay: $40 - $55 per hour DOE
Hours: Full-Time M–F (Flexible start time, but must work PST hours)
About the Role
A well-known client of LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented HRIS Analyst to support ongoing systems work, reporting needs, and HR process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who began their career in Human Resources and transitioned into HRIS, bringing both functional HR knowledge and technical system expertise. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and comfortable partnering with HR teams to solve problems and improve workflows.
Dayforce experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a systems partner to the HR team by troubleshooting issues, processing daily requests, and resolving HRIS-related inquiries.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity, security, and system workflows.
- Perform data audits, mass updates, and routine maintenance activities.
- Build, modify, and optimize reports, dashboards, and queries to support HR operations and business decision-making.
- Support configuration changes, testing, and implementation of new functionality or modules.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to understand business needs and ensure system capabilities align with ongoing initiatives.
- Assist with documentation, user guides, and training as new features roll out.
- Partner cross-functionally with payroll, benefits, and recruiting teams when system integrations or enhancements are needed.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of HRIS experience, ideally following time spent in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar HR role.
- Dayforce experience required (configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, or optimization).
- Strong understanding of HR processes such as onboarding, compensation, time & attendance, benefits, performance, or payroll.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, create structured reports, and support HR teams with insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort navigating complex systems.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $55.00 per hour
