Electrical Engineer (Power Systems / Electro-Mechanical)
We’re partnering with a growing engineering and manufacturing company developing complex electro-mechanical systems used across industrial and high-tech applications.
This is a hands-on electrical engineering role where you’ll be involved in the design, testing, and support of advanced electrical systems. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys being in the lab and working closely with hardware.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design, modify, and evaluate electronic circuits and power-related components
Test, troubleshoot, and debug electrical systems and assemblies
Analyze equipment performance and support experimental testing
Assist with prototype builds and ensure designs meet specifications
Review schematics and drawings for accuracy, quality, and compliance
Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Work cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, and software teams
Support technical documentation, including manuals and system documentation
Help troubleshoot issues and support internal teams or customers as needed
What They’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Internship or early-career experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of electrical circuitry and ability to read schematics
Exposure to schematic capture, PCB layout, or similar tools
Hands-on experience in a lab or production setting (testing, soldering, etc.)
Strong communication and ability to work on a team in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
Exposure to power electronics or high-voltage systems
Familiarity with industry standards or regulatory requirements (UL, CE, etc.)
Experience with ERP or MRP systems
Work Environment
Combination of office, lab, and production floor work
Hands-on role involving testing, wiring, and use of tools
Occasional lifting of equipment and materials
Potential for occasional travel depending on project needs
Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
