Entry-Level Accountant

LHH is partnering with a reputable organization in downtown Columbus, OH to hire an Entry-Level Accountant. This role is an excellent fit for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in accounting. The position offers hands-on experience, exposure to a variety of accounting functions, and long-term growth potential. The client also provides convenient downtown parking.
Responsibilities
Assist with preparing routine financial statements, schedules, and management reports.
Enter and review financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Reconcile bank accounts and assigned general ledger accounts.
Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entry preparation.
Conduct basic financial analysis and assist with budgeting tasks.
Track and review material costs to support operational accuracy.
Maintain accurate system pricing and update records as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
Internship or up to one year of accounting‑related experience.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational habits.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables and vlookups)
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
Pay Details: $46,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
