LHH is partnering with a reputable organization in downtown Columbus, OH to hire an Entry-Level Accountant. This role is an excellent fit for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in accounting. The position offers hands-on experience, exposure to a variety of accounting functions, and long-term growth potential. The client also provides convenient downtown parking.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing routine financial statements, schedules, and management reports.

  • Enter and review financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Reconcile bank accounts and assigned general ledger accounts.

  • Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entry preparation.

  • Conduct basic financial analysis and assist with budgeting tasks.

  • Track and review material costs to support operational accuracy.

  • Maintain accurate system pricing and update records as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

  • Internship or up to one year of accounting‑related experience.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational habits.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables and vlookups)

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.



Pay Details: $46,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
