Schedule: Hybrid - 4 days in-office/1 remote
Salary: $140,000-$160,000 + bonus

Job Description:
LHH is partnering with a well-established estate planning law firm to identify an Estate Planning Attorney with 5+ years of experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients, developing creative estate planning strategies, and collaborating closely with an experienced practitioner.
 
The firm is seeking someone who wants to build a long-term career within the practice and become a trusted advisor to clients. You'll work closely with a senior attorney on sophisticated estate planning matters while helping clients navigate wealth preservation, asset protection, and legacy planning objectives. No book of business is required, as the firm has a strong and established client base.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and update comprehensive estate planning documents
  • Advise clients on estate planning, wealth transfer, and asset protection strategies
  • Meet directly with clients to assess goals and develop customized planning solutions
  • Explain complex legal concepts in a practical and understandable manner
  • Conduct legal research and remain current on applicable laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to develop and implement client strategies
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication
  • Provide thoughtful counsel and practical recommendations tailored to each client's needs
 
Qualifications:
  • J.D. and active Oregon State Bar membership
  • 5+ years of estate planning attorney experience
  • Proven experience creating and implementing estate plans for clients
  • Strong drafting, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to build trust and establish long-term client relationships
  • Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to client satisfaction
  • Collaborative approach and desire to work closely with other attorneys
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage matters independently
  • Interest in long-term professional growth within a stable and growing practice
