LHH is partnering with a growing commercial construction firm to identify a highly skilled and collaborative Senior Estimator. This is a direct hire opportunity with a company known for its high-quality retail renovation and ground-up projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in commercial construction estimating, strong blueprint reading skills, and proficiency in Sage Timberline and Procore.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the estimating and bidding process for commercial retail construction projects
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
Conduct job site surveys and participate in preconstruction meetings
Prepare detailed take-offs and develop comprehensive project scopes
Solicit and review subcontractor bids, ensuring full scope coverage
Develop preliminary project schedules and finalize bid submissions
Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth handoff and subcontractor selection
Provide value engineering recommendations when appropriate
Maintain professional communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial construction estimating
Proficiency in Sage Timberline (Sage 300 Construction) and Procore
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
