Executive Assistant to the C‑Suite

Location: 100% Onsite, Houston, Texas 77040
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $100,000 – $105,000 annually (DOE)

 

LHH is partnering with our client to hire an experienced, polished Executive Assistant to the C‑Suite. This role provides high‑level administrative support to the CEO, CFO, and SVP of HR along with two senior leaders in Executive Strategy. The ideal professional thrives in a fast‑paced environment that requires discretion, responsiveness, and the ability to support executives with heavy travel schedules and shifting priorities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior‑level administrative support to the CEO, CFO, SVP of HR, and two Executive Strategy leaders, demonstrating maturity, polish, and sound judgment

  • Navigate strong personalities and complex internal dynamics with professionalism and discretion

  • Coordinate Board of Directors travel, accommodations, meeting materials, and logistics

  • Support quarterly earnings, communications, and executive‑level deliverables

  • Manage complex domestic and international travel, itineraries, agendas, and last‑minute changes

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, prepare materials, and track follow‑up actions

  • Assist with investor‑ and strategy‑related scheduling, conference coordination, and presentations

  • Supervise the Receptionist and maintain a professional, welcoming office environment

  • Support company events, executive offsites, and annual functions

  • Manage high‑volume communications — calls, emails, and correspondence — with confidentiality

  • Prepare and format presentations, board materials, and reports using Microsoft Office

  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate services, and approve invoices via DBAuthorize

  • Process detailed executive expense reports

  • Serve as backup support for the Legal Executive Assistant when needed

 

Requirements

  • Experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior or C‑Suite leaders

  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, travel‑heavy, last‑minute environment

  • Demonstrated comfort working with strong personalities and high‑level executive peers

  • High level of professionalism, polish, maturity, and discretion

  • Ability to juggle shifting priorities and remain composed under pressure

  • 100% commitment to onsite/in‑office work (Monday–Friday)

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Proven ability to manage confidential information appropriately

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • 10+ years supporting senior executives, with long‑tenure roles strongly preferred

  • Experience in Oil & Gas is required

  • Experience coordinating international schedules, global travel, and time‑zone demands

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively across the organization

  • Exceptional problem‑solving, organizational, and decision‑making abilities
