A leading industrial organization is seeking a Facility Engineer to support plant operations by ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of critical systems. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys solving complex equipment issues, and has a strong foundation in reliability and maintenance engineering.
This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime, optimizing system performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across facility operations.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and optimize plant utility systems including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, compressed air, HVAC, and water treatment systems
Lead structured root cause analysis (RCA) efforts and implement long-term corrective actions to improve equipment reliability
Manage critical spare parts strategy, including inventory optimization, vendor coordination, and BOM development within CMMS
Partner with maintenance and operations teams to enhance preventive maintenance programs, troubleshoot failures, and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
3–7 years of experience in facility engineering, utilities, maintenance, or reliability engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms (SAP, Maximo, eMaint, Fiix, etc.) and strong understanding of reliability tools such as 5-Whys, FMEA, or fault tree analysis
Ability to interpret P&IDs, schematics, and technical drawings, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Location: Wilton, CT - Onsite M-F
Salary: $105-120K yearly
