Family Law Paralegal

LHH is working with a well-established law firm in Charlotte seeking a Family Law Paralegal to join their team on a contract or contract-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity to step into a busy practice, gain immediate hands-on experience, and potentially transition into a long-term role.
Responsibilities
Provide full-cycle support on family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, and equitable distribution
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
Manage case files from intake through resolution, ensuring organization and accuracy
Coordinate court filings, deadlines, and hearing schedules
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits and case materials
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a paralegal, with strong exposure to family law
Knowledge of North Carolina court procedures and filing requirements
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in legal software and case management systems
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred

Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
