LHH is working with a well-established law firm in Charlotte seeking a Family Law Paralegal to join their team on a contract or contract-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity to step into a busy practice, gain immediate hands-on experience, and potentially transition into a long-term role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-cycle support on family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, and equitable distribution

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence

  • Manage case files from intake through resolution, ensuring organization and accuracy

  • Coordinate court filings, deadlines, and hearing schedules

  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner

  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits and case materials

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, with strong exposure to family law

  • Knowledge of North Carolina court procedures and filing requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in legal software and case management systems

  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred

Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
