Finance Manager
Salary Range: $150,000 – $175,000
Overview
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Finance Manager to lead financial planning and analysis activities across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who excels at connecting financial data to business strategy, building sophisticated models, and partnering with leadership to drive performance. The Finance Manager will oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and decision‑support analytics while driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long‑range planning processes
Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic initiatives and scenario planning
Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis and KPIs
Partner with department leaders to provide financial insights, recommendations, and business support
Analyze trends in revenue, margins, expenses, and operational performance
Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting tools, and data integrity
Support month‑end close in collaboration with Accounting, ensuring accurate financial results
Lead financial analysis for capital investments, pricing decisions, and special projects
Present clear financial summaries and insights to senior management
Mentor and support junior analysts, fostering skill development and analytical excellence
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA/CFA a plus)
5–7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance
Strong financial modeling and data‑analysis skills
Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with BI tools and ERP systems preferred
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
Strong business partnering skills and experience influencing cross‑functional teams
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
Demonstrated ability to improve processes and develop scalable reporting
