We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledger integrity, and supporting month-end and year-end close activities. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and experience working in structured accounting environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.

  • Assist with audit preparation, including documentation support and responding to audit inquiries.

  • Analyze financial data to identify variances, trends, and potential reporting issues.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely resolution of discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

  • 3+ years of experience in financial accounting or general ledger accounting.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

  • Experience preparing financial statements and supporting close activities.

  • Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting external audits

  • ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams



Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
