Financial Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledger integrity, and supporting month-end and year-end close activities. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and experience working in structured accounting environments.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
Assist with audit preparation, including documentation support and responding to audit inquiries.
Analyze financial data to identify variances, trends, and potential reporting issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely resolution of discrepancies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
3+ years of experience in financial accounting or general ledger accounting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Experience preparing financial statements and supporting close activities.
Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting external audits
ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
