Our client, a leading publicly traded healthcare organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and operational performance analysis. This role will partner closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive business decisions and support the company's continued growth and financial goals. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling and analytical skills, experience working in a corporate finance environment, and the ability to effectively communicate financial results to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial performance, trends, variances, and key business drivers to support strategic decision-making.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and executive leadership.

  • Assist with the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasts.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning initiatives, capital investments, and operational improvements.

  • Partner with department leaders to monitor expenses, productivity metrics, and financial performance.

  • Support public company reporting requirements by providing financial analysis and reporting schedules as needed.

  • Conduct variance analyses comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods.

  • Evaluate key healthcare metrics, including patient volumes, reimbursement trends, labor costs, and operational performance indicators.

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and process improvements.

  • Prepare presentations and executive summaries for senior leadership and board-level discussions.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial reporting standards.

  • Participate in special projects, acquisitions, business expansions, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of financial analysis, corporate finance, FP&A, or related experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

  • Experience within healthcare, hospital systems, healthcare services, or managed care organizations.

  • Experience supporting a publicly traded company.

  • Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and public company financial processes.

  • CPA, CFA, MBA, or progress toward certification.

  • Experience with financial planning software, Power BI, Tableau, Hyperion, Oracle, SAP, or Workday.

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
