Title: Finance Manager

Location: Suffolk County, Long Island, NY (On-Site)

A growing and well-established company in Suffolk County, Long Island is seeking a results-driven and strategic Finance Manager to support operations with financial leadership and insight. This high-impact role will serve as a key business partner to operations, supply chain, and senior leadership, focusing on cost analysis, capital planning, and long-term operational strategy. This position is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams to drive performance and efficiency.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial leadership to teams through analysis of cost drivers, production performance, and capital spend

  • Evaluate and maintain product cost structures, including materials, labor, and overhead

  • Develop financial models to assess operational changes, restructuring scenarios, and investment opportunities

  • Support long-term capital planning and evaluate return metrics for proposed projects

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align operational strategies with financial goals

  • Perform monthly variance analysis on production costs, inventory, and cost of goods sold

  • Lead financial support for continuous improvement initiatives and cost savings projects

  • Deliver financial insights to senior leadership via dashboards, reports, and business case presentations

  • Assist in developing and maintaining rolling forecasts and budgets

  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in reporting tools, financial processes, and internal controls

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

  • CPA or MBA preferred but not required

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership teams

  • Highly analytical with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
