Job Title: Full-Charge Bookkeeper (Contract)
Location: Onsite – Seattle, WA
Compensation: $30–$35/hour (DOE)
Contract Length: 8 months

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of accounting and financial recordkeeping for our organization on an 8-month contract. This onsite role in Seattle requires a proactive professional who can independently handle daily bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries

  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts

  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments accurately and on time

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation

  • Generate financial reports for management, including cash flow, profit & loss, and balance sheets

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations

  • Assist with audits and special accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role

  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and advanced MS Excel skills

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll processes, and reconciliations

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Pay: $30–$35/hour DOE
