Job Title: Full-Charge Bookkeeper (Contract)
Location: Onsite – Seattle, WA
Compensation: $30–$35/hour (DOE)
Contract Length: 8 months
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of accounting and financial recordkeeping for our organization on an 8-month contract. This onsite role in Seattle requires a proactive professional who can independently handle daily bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts
Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments accurately and on time
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
Generate financial reports for management, including cash flow, profit & loss, and balance sheets
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations
Assist with audits and special accounting projects as needed
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and advanced MS Excel skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll processes, and reconciliations
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $30–$35/hour DOE
