LHH Recruitment is partnering with a construction company near Tempe who is in search of a full time HR Coordinator. This role is Monday-Friday, fully onsite, compensation up to $70,000.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in operational HR, enjoys working directly with employees, and can stay organized while managing multiple priorities.
Candidates must have prior experience working in the construction, manufacturing, or healthcare industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage onboarding for new hires from offer acceptance through orientation
- Process and review pre-employment requirements including background checks, I-9 documentation, and onboarding paperwork
- Communicate with candidates and employees regarding onboarding timelines, missing documentation, and next steps
- Support leave administration including tracking employee leaves, documentation, and communication
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Assist with HR inbox management and employee inquiries
- Partner with hiring managers and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or related HR support experience
- Must have experience in construction, manufacturing, or healthcare environments
- Strong onboarding and new hire processing experience required
- Familiarity with leave administration and HR compliance preferred
- Experience handling high-volume hiring environments is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees at all levels
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; UKG is strongly preferred
Preferred Experience
- High-turnover or fast-paced workforce environments
- Background check adjudication and compliance processes
- Multi-site employee support
