A growing, multi-state manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking a hands-on HR Director to lead HR strategy and execution across corporate, plant, and field operations.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone ready to step into (or early in) a Director-level seat—ideal for a strong Senior HR Manager who enjoys balancing strategy with day-to-day execution.
What You’ll Do
Lead HR across a ~1,500-employee, multi-site organization
Serve as both HR Director + Corporate HR Leader (~100 employees)
Drive employee relations, compliance, and compensation strategy
Partner with operations leaders across manufacturing and distribution
Support and develop HR leaders nationally, and in field operations
Stay visible and hands-on—this is not a “behind-the-desk” role
What You Bring
Multi-state HR leadership experience (required)
Manufacturing, distribution, or blue-collar environment experience (required)
Proven strength in employee relations and compliance (OSHA exposure helpful)
Ability to balance executive-level thinking with tactical execution
Confident, relationship-driven leadership style

Location: Winston-Salem, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Travel: ~11–30% (quarterly domestically + regional travel)
Compensation: $130K–$150K base + up to 20% bonus
