HR Specialist (Contract) – Near Pittsburgh, PA – Up to $25/hr
LHH is partnering with a growing organization near Pittsburgh, PA to hire an HR Specialist for an exciting contract position offering hands?on HR exposure, professional development, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one. About the Role
As a third?party recruiting partner, we are assisting our client in identifying an HR professional who is detail?oriented, organized, and confident handling employee support and HR processes in a fast?paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, new hire paperwork, and compliance documentation
- Assist with recruitment activities such as posting jobs, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity
- Assist in benefits support, employee relations inquiries, and HR communication initiatives
- Coordinate training sessions, safety programs, and special HR projects
- Partner with leadership to implement HR process improvements and employee engagement activities
What You’ll Bring
- At least 1 year of HR support experience preferred; HR internship or HR administrative experience welcome
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Experience with HRIS or ATS systems is a plus
- A proactive, positive, and service?oriented mindset
Compensation & Details
- Pay: Up to $25/hr
