Human Resource Generalist

The Human Resource Generalist plays a key role in supporting and strengthening the HR function by leading higher?level HR activities such as employee relations, investigations, and policy development. This position will help build HR infrastructure, create processes and procedures, and support the organization through the full employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate is experienced, confident working independently, and able to make immediate contributions while the HR department continues to grow.

Responsibilities
  • Lead employee relations efforts, including conducting investigations, addressing workplace concerns, and supporting disciplinary actions and terminations.
  • Develop, revise, and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems that ensure consistency, compliance, and improved operational efficiency.
  • Partner with leadership to build and structure the HR function, including creating workflows, documentation standards, and long?term departmental processes.
  • Manage key components of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, documentation, compliance, and exit processes.
  • Provide HR guidance and interpretation of policies, offering recommendations to managers and employees as needed.
  • Perform select administrative HR tasks when required, while maintaining focus on higher?level strategic and compliance?related responsibilities.
  • Support change management efforts as the organization grows, contributing ideas and improvements to HR practices and employee experience.

Requirements
  • Strong HR background with hands?on experience in employee relations, investigations, policy development, and general HR best practices.
  • Ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Proven ability to “hit the ground running” by quickly assessing needs, solving problems, and contributing meaningful HR support.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and critical?thinking skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast?paced, evolving environment.

  • Pay $33-$38 an hour depending on experience
