Human Resources Assistant (Part-Time)
Downtown Indianapolis | Onsite | Contract-to-Hire

LHH is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Human Resources Assistant for one of our non-profit clients in downtown Indianapolis. This person will support the HR Manager and department leaders with day-to-day recruiting and administrative needs. This is a hands-on role for someone who can work autonomously, jump in quickly, and keep things moving.
What you’ll do:
  • Support recruiting efforts for current open positions
  • Review resumes and applications against established criteria
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and schedule phone and in-person interviews
  • Coordinate interview logistics and communicate with candidates
  • Assemble onboarding and new hire materials
  • Provide general administrative support to HR and other departments as needed
What we’re looking for:
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Clear communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Prior administrative or HR support experience preferred
Schedule & Pay:
  • Monday–Friday, 25 hours/week (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
  • $20.00/hour
Location & Role Details:
  • Fully onsite, Downtown Indianapolis
