Implementation Accountant (Contract)

The Implementation Accountant will support day‑to‑day accounting operations while the core accounting team is dedicated to a major system implementation. This role ensures continuity, accuracy, and timeliness across core accounting functions during the transition period.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations while internal resources are focused on system implementation
Handle general ledger activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end close support
Maintain accuracy of financial records and ensure transactions are properly recorded
Support AP, AR, and cash activities as needed to keep operations running smoothly
Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and documentation for management and auditors
Assist with financial reporting and ad hoc analysis
Serve as a steady operational resource and point of continuity during the implementation phase
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of hands‑on accounting experience
Strong general ledger and month‑end close experience
Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced, change‑driven environment
Experience supporting ERP or system implementations is a plus
Strong Excel skills; experience with Oracle, highly preferred
Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
