Indirect Procurement Buyer

LHH is actively seeking a Procurement Analyst with experience in indirect procurement to support and enhance one of our top client’s purchasing operations. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of purchase requisitions and orders, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and providing high-quality support to internal stakeholders.
You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and internal customers to streamline purchasing activities, resolve procurement issues, and identify process improvement opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Review and approve Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Change Orders in the ERP system (Oracle Cloud).
Monitor and manage PRs and Purchase Orders (POs) throughout the full lifecycle.
Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement policies and procedures.
Perform routine PO maintenance (e.g., ownership transfers, closure of expired POs).
Direct stakeholders to appropriate procurement contacts or resources as needed.
Interpret and understand commercial terms in supplier agreements.
Identify and document non-compliant purchasing activity in line with internal policies.
Respond to and resolve Procurement Help Desk tickets in a timely manner, meeting SLA expectations.
Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external partners.
Compile, analyze, and validate procurement data from multiple systems; summarize findings for stakeholders.
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvement opportunities.
Develop and maintain internal guides and documentation to support process adherence and changes.
Collaborate with IT to translate business needs into technical purchasing system requirements.
Support ad hoc procurement projects and monitor performance against established objectives.
What You Bring
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
4+ years of experience in indirect procurement as a Procurement Analyst, Buyer, or related role.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong background in indirect procurement categories such as Professional Services, Marketing, Workplace Operations, SaaS, etc.
Proficient with Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes and lifecycle management of PRs and POs.
Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP, JIRA, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools preferred.
Familiarity with financial and accounting codes related to purchasing.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships.
High level of customer service with experience guiding stakeholders through complex workflows.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Proactive, solutions-oriented, and accountable in all aspects of work.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.81 per hour
