Intellectual Property Legal Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Legal Assistant to support a team of attorneys in a fast-paced, technology-driven law firm environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience handling USPTO filings.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, edit, and file USPTO documents (patents, trademarks, office actions, assignments, etc.)
Manage client files, trademark portfolios, and document systems (iManage/FileSite)
Draft correspondence with clients and foreign associates
Maintain calendars and docket deadlines in coordination with docketing teams
Handle billing tasks including time entry, invoice editing, and expense reports
Assist with new matter intake and general administrative support
Qualifications:
3+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in Intellectual Property
Strong knowledge of USPTO procedures and filings
Experience with IP docketing systems (CPi, Intapp) and document management systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Adobe)
Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills
Typing speed of 70+ WPM preferred
