We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Legal Assistant to support a team of attorneys in a fast-paced, technology-driven law firm environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience handling USPTO filings.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, edit, and file USPTO documents (patents, trademarks, office actions, assignments, etc.)

  • Manage client files, trademark portfolios, and document systems (iManage/FileSite)

  • Draft correspondence with clients and foreign associates

  • Maintain calendars and docket deadlines in coordination with docketing teams

  • Handle billing tasks including time entry, invoice editing, and expense reports

  • Assist with new matter intake and general administrative support

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in Intellectual Property

  • Strong knowledge of USPTO procedures and filings

  • Experience with IP docketing systems (CPi, Intapp) and document management systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Adobe)

  • Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills

  • Typing speed of 70+ WPM preferred
