LHH is partnering with a national automotive supplier on a search for an Inventory Accountant for their Cape Girardeau location.  In this role you will be responsible for all inventory accounts, transactions, purchases, transfers and adjustments.  This is a great opportunity because there is a lot of growth potential within the company and a leadership team that believes in promoting their team.  It is a direct hire job with a salary that pays between $60K - $70K (possibly more for the right candidate).  Here are more details about this job:

 

  • RESPONSIBILITIES
    Maintain and reconcile the inventory to the general ledger

  • Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts, investigate and resolve discrepancies

  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to improve controls and processes in inventory

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field

  • 2+ years of accounting experience

  • Strong GAAP knowledge

  • Software: Great Plains is beneficial but not required
