Inventory Accountant

LHH is partnering with a national automotive supplier on a search for an Inventory Accountant for their Cape Girardeau location. In this role you will be responsible for all inventory accounts, transactions, purchases, transfers and adjustments. This is a great opportunity because there is a lot of growth potential within the company and a leadership team that believes in promoting their team. It is a direct hire job with a salary that pays between $60K - $70K (possibly more for the right candidate). Here are more details about this job:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and reconcile the inventory to the general ledgerPerform regular inventory audits and cycle counts, investigate and resolve discrepancies
Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to improve controls and processes in inventory
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
2+ years of accounting experience
Strong GAAP knowledge
Software: Great Plains is beneficial but not required
