Looking to get your foot in the door with Salesforce administration while still putting your IT troubleshooting skills to work?
We’re hiring an IT Support & Salesforce Associate for a mission-driven nonprofit organization. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their technology career who wants hands-on exposure to Salesforce, CRM data management, Microsoft/Windows support, and end-user troubleshooting.
You do not need to be an experienced Salesforce Administrator. We’re looking for someone with the technical foundation, curiosity, and service mindset to learn and grow.
🔹 What You'll Be Doing
Approximately 65% Salesforce Support:
Support Salesforce users with passwords, profiles, permissions, and everyday questions
Assist with data imports, updates, cleanup, and duplicate records
Build and modify basic reports, dashboards, and list views
Assist with custom fields and basic page-layout changes
Help maintain Salesforce data quality
Create FAQs, user guides, and training materials
Work alongside and learn from an experienced Salesforce Administrator
Approximately 35% IT Support:
Troubleshoot everyday hardware, software, printer, and peripheral issues
Support employees with Microsoft Windows, Teams, and Office applications
Assist with new-user login issues and conference-room technology
Support IT equipment and asset inventory
Coordinate with the organization's managed IT provider when issues require escalation
🎯 What We're Looking For
This could be a great fit if you have:
✅ 0–2 years of IT support, Help Desk, CRM, Salesforce, or related technical experience
✅ Foundational Salesforce knowledge or exposure
✅ An understanding of databases, reporting, and data quality
✅ Basic Windows and end-user troubleshooting skills
✅ Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
✅ Strong communication and customer-service skills
✅ A willingness to learn and be coached
✅ A genuine interest in working for a nonprofit and supporting its mission
Salesforce certification is welcomed, but NOT required. Candidates who have earned or pursued a Salesforce certification and are looking for their first opportunity to apply those skills professionally are encouraged to apply.
A technical degree is preferred, but it is not a deal-breaker.
⭐ Why This Opportunity Stands Out
You don't need to already be a Salesforce expert.
This is an opportunity to become one.
You'll gain practical Salesforce administration experience while building broader IT support skills, with mentorship from an established Salesforce Administrator and exposure to the day-to-day technology operations of a nonprofit organization.
If you're early in your IT/Salesforce career and looking for an opportunity where you can learn, contribute, and grow, I'd love to connect.
