Junior Accountant
Location: Bloomfield, NJ (onsite)
A well‑established organization in the Bloomfield area is seeking a Junior Accountant to join a small, collaborative accounting team. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is looking to gain hands‑on experience across multiple accounting functions while receiving direct mentorship and exposure.
The Junior Accountant will support core accounting operations, interact with internal teams and external clients, and assist with special projects in a highly visible environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assisted with accounts receivable and accounts payable processing
Supported billing and invoicing activities
Responded to client and internal accounting‑related questions in a professional and timely manner
Maintained accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Assisted with ad hoc accounting and reporting projects
Worked closely with senior accounting staff in a small department setting
Ideal Background
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (completed or in progress)
Prior customer service, administrative, or office experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Clear communication skills and a willingness to learn
Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting systems preferred

$58,000 base salary
