Junior Accountant

We are seeking applicants for a Junior Accountant position with a company in High Point. This role is responsible for assisting the accounting team with all aspects of accounting duties including the General Ledger, month-end and year-end closings and reconciliations. Qualified candidates will have a degree in accounting with a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end closing, including month-end reports, reconciliations
Maintain intercompany GL accounts and worksheets – reconciling detail monthly
Process all non-sales bank transactions
Weekly audit of Wells Fargo transactions/funds and monthly reconciliation of applications
Prepare and file monthly multi-state sales tax reports
Reconcile bank statements
Post daily sales, payments, journal entries and correcting entries as necessary
Review and request refund checks weekly
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
2-3 yeas of accounting experience
ERP System experience preferred
Retail experience highly preferred

Pay Details: $48,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
