Junior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Sacramento-based organization to hire a Junior Accountant for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position is a great fit for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and enjoys supporting both transactional accounting and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in month-end close activities, including preparing documentation and supporting reconciliations
Maintain accurate financial records by organizing and tracking invoice and payment data
Coordinate payment execution through electronic methods such as ACH and wire transfers, including international transactions
Support billing operations by preparing contract-based invoices and making adjustments as needed
Review incoming invoices to confirm alignment with purchase details, approvals, and company standards
Manage a steady workload of invoice entry across multiple expense categories and departments
Provide day-to-day support to accounting and operational teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely processing
Qualifications
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
1+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role preferred
System savvy with Excel, SAP, Oracle or ERP and Ramp
Prior experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations

Pay Details
$28.00 to $30.00 per hour (depending on experience)
