E-Billing Coordinator
Location: open to Pasadena, Cerritos, or Irvine offices
Salary: $80,000 – $105,000
Schedule: Full-Time | Open to Fully Onsite
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced E-Billing Coordinator to manage the full lifecycle of electronic billing processes. This role will focus heavily on submitting, tracking, and resolving e-bills through various client platforms, ensuring compliance and timely payment. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with high-volume e-billing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the complete e-billing cycle from invoice submission through client approval and payment tracking
Submit invoices through multiple e-billing platforms (such as Legal Tracker, TyMetrix 360, Collaborati, CounselLink, etc.)
Review invoice data and formats (including LEDES) to ensure accuracy prior to submission and reduce rejections
Monitor invoice status, identify rejections, and coordinate corrections or resubmissions as needed
Handle appeals by working closely with internal teams to resolve billing issues and secure approvals
Track invoice progress through client portals and follow up on delayed or stalled payments
Maintain organized records of billing activity, client requirements, and submission timelines
Assist with onboarding new clients or matters into e-billing platforms as needed
Partner with billing teams and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant billing processes
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of e-billing experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
Strong experience working with multiple e-billing platforms (Legal Tracker, TyMetrix, Collaborati, CounselLink, etc.)
Familiarity with LEDES billing formats and common submission requirements
Experience handling invoice rejections, troubleshooting issues, and managing appeals
High level of accuracy and ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume environment
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, tracking/reporting)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Aderant (a plus, but not required)
Background supporting high-volume e-billing portfolios
