LHH is partnering with a highly respected law firm client in Charlotte, NC to identify a Legal Billing Specialist for a direct hire opportunity. This role will begin onsite, then transition to a hybrid schedule once training is complete. The firm offers competitive compensation, an excellent benefits package, and a strong reputation within the legal community.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage end-to-end billing processes for an assigned group of approximately 20 attorneys

·       Handle electronic billing (e-billing) in compliance with client guidelines

·       Communicate regularly with attorneys and clients to resolve billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner

·       Perform billing reconciliations and ensure accuracy of invoices

·       Assist with additional billing and accounting-related duties as needed

Qualifications

·       Minimum of 2 years of legal billing experience required – specifically e-billing

·       Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment

·       Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal

·       High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Compensation & Schedule

·       Salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)

·       Schedule: Onsite to start, then hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days work from home)
