Legal Billing Specialist
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 annually


Our client, an established and highly respected law firm located in Downtown Los Angeles, is looking to hire a Legal Billing Specialist. The Legal Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the full-cycle billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing in accordance with client guidelines and firm policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and prior experience in a law firm environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and process client invoices in a timely and accurate manner

  • Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines, including e-billing requirements

  • Submit invoices through electronic billing systems

  • Review time entries and expenses for accuracy and completeness

  • Coordinate with attorneys and staff to resolve billing discrepancies

  • Monitor billing status and follow up on outstanding invoices

  • Apply payments and assist with accounts receivable tracking

  • Maintain accurate billing records and documentation

  • Assist with month-end close procedures related to billing and revenue

  • Support special projects and process improvements as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of legal billing experience required

  • Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment

  • Strong knowledge of e-billing platforms and client billing guidelines

  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally with attorneys and staff



Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
