Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected mid-size law firm in Seattle seeking a Legal Operations Manager to support firmwide operational strategy and legal staff management. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal operations professional who enjoys improving workflows, implementing systems, managing projects, and partnering with leadership to drive efficiency across practice groups.
 
This role is ideal for someone with prior law firm experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving operational challenges, and brings a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to team management and process improvement.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with firm leadership to develop, implement, and refine operational strategies, policies, and procedures that support firmwide goals
  • Oversee legal staff workflow, resource allocation, staffing analysis, onboarding, and performance-related operational support
  • Evaluate, improve, and standardize workflows, processes, and best practices across practice groups to drive efficiency and consistency
  • Research, implement, and support legal technology solutions, including practice management, document management, records management, and eDiscovery tools
  • Manage operational projects, system integrations, and process improvement initiatives from planning through execution
  • Resolve day-to-day operational issues, provide practical solutions, and maintain clear communication with attorneys, staff, and vendors
  • Track performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and help foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
  • Assist with budgeting, operational planning, and other administrative initiatives as needed
 
Qualifications:
  • Prior law firm or legal industry operations experience required, with a strong understanding of legal workflows, support functions, and practice management
  • Experience managing projects, operational initiatives, workflows, and/or legal support teams in a fast-paced professional services environment
  • Strong working knowledge of legal technology, including document management systems, practice management tools, Microsoft Office, and related operational software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively partner with attorneys, staff, leadership, and external vendors
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in operations, business administration, HR, or a related field preferred

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
