Job Summary:
LHH is currently recruiting a Legal Support Specialist to provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals for an office in Atlanta. This role requires prior experience as a legal assistant, preferably in litigation, within a law firm or similar environment. The client is looking for strong organizational skills, a customer service attitude, attention to detail, and proficiency with technology are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver legal, word processing, and administrative support to attorneys and paralegals

  • Provide in-person coverage for legal assistants as needed

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, travel, and conferences

  • Organize and maintain case files and legal documents

  • Prepare and process monthly client billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines

  • Track and submit reimbursement and marketing expense reports

  • Manage correspondence, billing letters, and time entry files

  • Enter attorney timesheets into the CMS database

  • Open new client and matter files in accordance with procedures

  • Assist with attorney calendars and contact management

  • Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Experience with document formatting, including Styles, Table of Authorities, and Table of Contents

  • Familiarity with Kofax PDF is preferred

  • Knowledge of NetDocs or similar document management systems

  • Experience with Litera or similar redlining/tracking software is preferred

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
