Litigation Legal Secretary | Downtown Austin (Hybrid)
An established and highly respected law firm in downtown Austin is seeking a Litigation Legal Secretary to support a busy, sophisticated litigation and appellate practice. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70K – $90K
- Bonus: ~4.17% annual (plus additional discretionary bonuses for high performers)
- 401(k): Immediate eligibility + firm-funded profit sharing (5%–8.5%)

Schedule & Work Environment
- Hybrid: 4 days in-office, 1 remote day (rotates, typically Monday or Friday)
- 37.5-hour work week (strong emphasis on work-life balance)
- Overtime only during peak periods
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-level litigation and appellate support to multiple attorneys
- Draft, edit, and format legal documents with precision
- Handle state and federal e-filing
- Manage complex calendaring, deadlines, and travel coordination
- Prepare and revise billing/proformas; assist with time entry
- Process expense reimbursements (Chrome River)
- Coordinate document production and file management/closing
- Communicate with clients and provide administrative support
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of legal secretary experience in a law firm setting
- Strong litigation support experience required
- Experience with state and federal e-filing
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Exceptional proofreading, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Professional communication skills and strong reliability
Preferred
- Large law firm experience
- Appellate practice exposure
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously
- Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., FileSite)
