Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote)
Compensation: $88,000 - $100,000 annually

A highly regarded international law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support a team of attorneys in a fast-paced litigation practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and attorneys while providing high-level administrative and litigation support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide litigation support to multiple attorneys in a deadline-driven environment

  • Prepare, revise, proofread, and format pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents

  • Handle federal and state court e-filings

  • Maintain litigation calendars, including court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial dates

  • Assist with discovery, document production, exhibit preparation, and trial support

  • Coordinate attorney travel arrangements and expense reimbursements

  • Prepare and process client billing and time entry

  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems

  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal team members

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of litigation legal secretary experience

  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys, including partners

  • Hands-on experience with federal and state court e-filing

  • Strong knowledge of court rules, procedures, and deadlines

  • Familiarity with PACER, CM/ECF, and legal docketing systems

  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including Tables of Contents, Tables of Authorities, cross-referencing, styles, and Track Changes

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems

  • Excellent spelling, grammar, proofreading, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environment

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
