Litigation Legal Secretary (Commercial Litigation)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Salary: $85,000 – $120,000 DOE
Schedule: Full-time | Hybrid (2 days in-office / 3 remote, 7.5-hour workday)
Our client, a mid-sized law firm in San Francisco’s Financial District, is seeking a Litigation Legal Secretary. This role requires strong commercial litigation experience and the ability to manage a high-volume desk with precision.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and litigation support to a Partner and Associates
Draft, edit, and finalize correspondence and legal documents
Manage court filings and e-filings (state and federal)
Maintain and coordinate attorney calendars and deadlines
Schedule meetings, depositions, and client communications
Coordinate with internal departments on matter opening and closing
Enter and edit attorney time as needed
Qualifications
5–7 years of commercial litigation legal secretary experience required
Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures, and calendaring
Advanced document formatting skills, including Tables of Contents and Authorities
Ability to independently manage e-filing in compliance with court rules
Strong organizational, proofreading, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage competing priorities
