Litigation Paralegal

A highly regarded, collaborative mid‑size law firm with a strong litigation practice is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its San Diego office. This position supports a busy litigation team and offers meaningful exposure, collaboration across offices, and long‑term career development.

Work Location & Schedule
This role is 100% in‑office, five days per week, in the San Diego office.

Compensation
The reasonably expected salary range for this position is $100,000 – $120,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, finalize, and manage litigation documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials

  • Support all phases of discovery, including preparing requests and responses, summarizing depositions, and organizing document productions

  • Assist with trial and hearing preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, and coordinating logistics

  • Maintain case files, track court deadlines, and manage case chronologies

  • Conduct legal and factual research related to litigation matters

  • Provide ongoing litigation support to attorneys in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment

Ideal Background

  • 5+ years law firm experience is required

  • California filing experience required

  • Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required

  • Comfortable collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and teams across multiple offices

  • Litigation‑focused background

  • iManage document management experience

  • Familiarity with Elite 3E

  • Creating Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities

  • Trial preparation experience (e.g., preparing trial binders and exhibits;
