LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable law firm in Tampa that is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to join its growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting attorneys through all phases of the litigation process.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with all aspects of insurance defense litigation.
Draft, prepare, and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
Manage case files and maintain litigation calendars and deadlines.
Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and other case-related events.
Review, organize, and summarize medical, billing, and other case records.
Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Support trial preparation, including exhibit and witness coordination.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of Insurance Defense Paralegal experience required.
Strong knowledge of Florida litigation procedures and court rules.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
Paralegal certificate or degree preferred.
Schedule
Hybrid work schedule available
Full-time, Monday through Friday
Combination of onsite and remote work
