Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join one of our clients in Midtown Atlanta. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating reverse logistics activities to support the efficient return of reusable assets from retail and collection locations to service centers. This role manages shipment tracking, system updates, and partner communication while leveraging data and reporting tools to support timely, accurate logistics execution.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate reverse logistics operations to ensure timely asset returns and appropriate service center inventory levels
Track and trace shipments using a TMS and maintain accurate records in D365 and related systems
Monitor cube utilization and performance data via Power BI and engage shippers based on trends and insights
Support third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and assist with routing and transportation coordination
Review linehaul and accessorial charges and escalate discrepancies as needed
Serve as a primary point of contact for retail, salvage, and collection partners via phone and email
Participate in daily service center calls and own follow-ups with collection sites and carriers
Maintain accurate shipping documentation and support issue resolution related to paperwork or receipt discrepancies
Required Qualifications
Reverse logistics experience required
3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related operations
Experience working with an ERP system (D365 preferred)
Proficiency with Excel for data entry and tracking (no advanced formulas required)
Ability to interpret Power BI dashboards and apply insights to daily communication
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume email environment
Must be able to commute to Midtown Atlanta (hybrid role)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting retail, salvage, or asset recovery logistics
Familiarity with TMS or shipment tracking platforms
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
