Location: Kearny Mesa, CA – Onsite
Schedule: Full-time
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Loss Mitigation Specialist to join our team in Kearny Mesa. This onsite position requires 1–2 years of prior loss mitigation experience.
The Loss Mitigation Specialist will be responsible for reviewing delinquent accounts, identifying opportunities to minimize financial losses, and assisting customers with workout solutions to avoid foreclosure or asset repossession. You will analyze financial documents, verify hardship claims, and recommend viable repayment plans or loan modifications in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and assess delinquent accounts to determine loss mitigation options
Communicate with borrowers to understand financial hardships and provide solutions
Prepare and process repayment plans, forbearance agreements, and loan modifications
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to expedite resolution
Qualifications:
1–2 years of loss mitigation experience required
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan servicing systems
Working Hours:
Full-time
Onsite
Monday- Friday
7:00am-4:00pm PST (Flexible on start time)
Position Details:
Location: Kearny Mesa, San Diego
Contract role till the end of February 2026
Compensation: $23.72 per hour
