Machine Maintenance Technician (Sport Court)

LHH is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a skilled problem solver with experience in industrial equipment and a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. The technician will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and improving molding and auxiliary equipment, while ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.
Job Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety requirements and proactively address issues.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment related to the molding process.
Perform general maintenance duties within the manufacturing plant.
Support preventative maintenance and daily equipment repairs.
Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Manage startup and shutdown of production equipment and systems.
Assist with mold and insert changes according to the production schedule.
Assemble/disassemble injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment for repairs and installations.
Work closely with process technicians, tooling, production staff, and supervisors.
Maintain accurate records of work performed using maintenance request systems.
Uphold safety, quality, and ISO standards.
Be available for overtime as needed.
Apply 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Skilled in using hand tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment.
Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
Experience with mechanical and electrical equipment.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with hydraulic/pneumatic components.
Experience with maintenance tracking systems (e.g., IQMS).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Punctual, task-focused, decisive, and a strong problem solver.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards.
Strong interpersonal skills.
