Position Overview

This role is responsible for designing and developing custom machinery from initial concept through final production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable equipment that supports efficient manufacturing operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical systems and components using CAD software

  • Perform engineering analysis, calculations, and simulations to validate designs and ensure performance standards are met

  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials

  • Partner with suppliers and vendors to source components and support system integration

  • Specify and select mechanical elements such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, and shafts based on application requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

  • Hands-on experience in machinery or equipment design

  • Proficiency with CAD platforms such as Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD

  • Strong foundation in mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes

  • Working knowledge of welding methods and fabrication practices

Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000
