Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a highly collaborative team focused on designing and building customized industrial systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, hands-on projects from concept through startup, partnering closely with engineering, fabrication, and controls teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D designs and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit

• Create submittal packages, including process and general arrangement (GA) drawings

• Participate in cross-functional design reviews and project meetings

• Support proposal development, including preliminary costing

• Assist with manufacturing efforts, including weldment QC and system testing

• Contribute to controls-related tasks and system integration efforts

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD (3D) and/or Revit required

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and fabrication processes

• Hands-on mindset with interest in both design and field implementation

• Travel: <20% (primarily for system startups)

• Exposure to full project lifecycle—from design through fabrication and commissioning

Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000
