Medical Credentialing Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical Credentialing Specialist for our healthcare client located in East Portland. This position will be 100% onsite and a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity - our client is looking for a long-term fit!
This position will manage the credentialing and re-credentialing of healthcare providers to ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and payer requirements. This role performs primary source verification, prepares and tracks credentialing and enrollment applications, maintains accurate provider records, and monitors expiration dates to prevent lapses in eligibility. The position also supports audits, responds to verification requests, collaborates with internal teams and providers to resolve issues, and maintains strict confidentiality while ensuring timely and accurate completion of all credentialing activities.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $32.00 per hour

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years medical credentialing experience
- Must be knowledgeable of all insurance payers, including commercial, Medicare and Medicaid
- Strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Can adapt to different tasks throughout the day and thrive in a fast-paced environment
