About the Opportunity

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Office & Facilities Manager for a growing industrial services company in Houston, TX. This is a highly visible, hands-on opportunity for an organized and resourceful professional who enjoys solving problems, managing multiple priorities, and creating structure in a fast-moving environment.

In this role, you will oversee day-to-day office operations while progressively taking on broader facilities responsibilities. One of your immediate priorities will be coordinating ongoing office renovations and managing contractors and outside vendors.

This position is 100% onsite and works closely with employees across both the front office and warehouse/shop environment. The role is initially an interim/contract assignment with the potential to convert to a permanent position for the right fit.

What You'll Do

Office Operations

  • Manage daily office needs, including supplies, coffee, general office equipment, deliveries, and vendor services.

  • Serve as a key front-office point of contact for incoming calls, visitors, customers, vendors, and deliveries.

  • Coordinate workplace needs across departments and help ensure employees have the resources they need.

  • Provide support to shipping and receiving and other operational functions as needed.

  • Communicate facility and operational updates to employees when workplace disruptions occur.

Facilities & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the go-to contact for day-to-day facility needs involving HVAC, internet/connectivity, water, maintenance, and other building services.

  • Coordinate directly with contractors and outside service providers.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with office and facilities vendors.

  • Track outstanding facility issues and follow through to resolution.

  • Partner with office, warehouse/shop, and departmental teams to coordinate facility-related projects and needs.

Renovation & Project Coordination

  • Take an active role in ongoing office renovation and improvement projects.

  • Coordinate vendors for flooring, carpet, painting, office improvements, and other facility projects.

  • Schedule contractors, monitor progress, communicate updates, and help keep projects moving forward.

  • Support workspace, break-room, and other facility improvement projects as they develop.

IT Coordination

  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine office technology needs.

  • Work directly with the company's outside IT provider, GB Tech, to coordinate technology issues and support.

  • Help ensure technology-related issues are routed appropriately and followed through to resolution.

Process & Operational Support

  • Establish practical, repeatable processes for the office and facilities responsibilities you own.

  • Identify operational gaps and create greater structure and consistency around recurring needs.

  • Partner cross-functionally with leadership, procurement, shipping/receiving, and other employees to keep daily operations moving.

  • Take ownership of issues and follow them through to completion.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of office management, facilities management, workplace operations, or related experience.

  • Hands-on vendor and contractor management experience.

  • Experience supporting an office within a manufacturing, industrial, shop, or similar operational environment strongly preferred.

  • Experience coordinating facility improvement or renovation projects.

  • Ability to work independently and create processes where formal procedures may not already exist.

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and follow-through skills.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional relationship-building skills.

  • Comfortable working in both front-office and warehouse/shop environments.

  • Proactive, resourceful approach with a willingness to jump in wherever needed.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred, but not required.

  • Experience in pumps, rotating equipment, manufacturing, turbines, aerospace, or a closely related industrial environment is a plus.

  • College degree is not required.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • 100% onsite in Houston, TX 77075

  • Monday–Friday

  • Standard schedule of approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

  • Flexibility for an earlier schedule, such as 7:00/7:30 AM–4:00/4:30 PM

  • Must be comfortable occasionally responding to time-sensitive facility or IT issues outside normal business hours.

  • This position is front-office facing but will also regularly interact with employees in the warehouse/shop environment.

  • Contractor overtime beyond 40 hours may be available based on business needs.

Why This Opportunity?

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership and making an immediate impact. You'll step into a role where you can address immediate office, vendor, and renovation priorities while progressively expanding your responsibility for facilities and workplace operations.

The position offers the opportunity to bring organization and structure to an evolving environment while building relationships across multiple areas of the business.
